Fees & Logistics
Therapy is a meaningful investment in yourself, one that takes time, money, courage, and a willingness to sit with discomfort as you grow. Below you'll find my fees, along with how to seek reimbursement from your insurance.
Therapy Services
I offer sessions in person at my office in Ithaca, NY, and online by secure video or phone. Sessions are typically 50 minutes.
Therapy Fees
-
15-minute consultation call: Free
-
Individual session (50 minutes): $200
-
Couples session (50 minutes): $250

Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and retreats: Please contact me for details
Ketamine-assisted sessions run longer than a standard 50-minute session and are billed differently. Please reach out, and I'll walk you through the details.
Insurance
Working outside of insurance means our work is shaped by what you need, not by what an insurance company will approve. There's no requirement for a diagnosis to justify care, your records stay between us, and we decide together how often to meet and how long to work together.
I'm an out-of-network provider for most PPO insurance plans. Many clients receive partial reimbursement for our sessions, and the process is simpler than it sounds.
How to Seek Reimbursement
1. Check your benefits. Call your insurance company and ask: Do you reimburse for out-of-network mental health providers? Do I have a deductible, and how much of it have I met? What is the reimbursement rate?
2. Pay at each session. You pay my fee when we meet.
3. Submit your superbill. Once a month, or upon request, I'll give you a superbill (a detailed receipt). Many insurers let you upload a photo of it through their online portal, or you can mail it in. It takes about five minutes.
4. Get reimbursed. Your insurance company sends your reimbursement directly to you. I can't answer questions about your specific plan, but I'm glad to help you through the process. Please reach out with any questions.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for services. For more information, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
Getting Started
Therapy begins with connection. In our first sessions, we'll explore what's bringing you to therapy, what you're hoping for, and how we might work together in a way that feels respectful, empowering, and attuned to your needs. I'm deeply committed to creating a space where every part of your identity is honored and held with care.
If you're curious whether we might be a good fit, I offer a free 15-minute consultation call. It's a chance to ask questions, share a little about what you're looking for, and get a feel for what working together might be like. You can schedule one using the contact form below, and I'll be in touch.
